A - Hydraulic Clamp Cylinder

B - Moving or (B) side Platen

E - Machine Nozzle - Hot melted polyethylene enters mold through this nozzle

F - Machine Barrel - Are of machine where resin and color concentrate are heated and mixed

G - Hopper

Basic Process

1 - Plasticizing a preset amount of polyethylene (a type of very durable plastic) material in an injection unit equipped with a reciprocating screw

2 - Injecting material into the cavity of a mold being held together by the tonnage of the clamp unit

3 - The part is cooled, mold halves separate, part is ejected
